New Beginnings

Spring has arrived and this is, by far, my favorite season. I love the "newness" of it all - the fresh hopes, the "try again"s, the bygone messes. It's a time of refreshing and a time to refocus. A time for awareness and a time of healing.
I'm drawn to gardening and the outdoors because it calms the daily frazzle that I'm constantly absorbed in. It's my piece of heaven on earth. This is a photo I took of the crab apple tree in my backyard at the end of April. Programmed to blossom at the first breath of spring. Ready to try again and do better than last year. Peacefully achieving it's goal as it's kissed by the sunlight.
At this pivotal point in my life (I'm turning 40 this year!), I feel as if I'm entering into my own spring season - hence this blog spot. I'm not sure yet where this will lead me, but it will basically be a place where I lay my thoughts and a place for me to give thanks to a God who forever loves me. Perhaps my musings will encourage, uplift, and help someone else find their own bit of peace in a busy and crowded world.
